Joining the Southern Chapter:
Membership in the Chapter is open to any member of the AMS in good standing. Individuals may join the Chapter through the payment of annual dues, which are payable at or before the first Chapter meeting in a calendar year.
Annual dues for the society are $10 for regular members and $5 for students. Please send a check (made out to AMS, with “Southern Chapter Dues” in the memo line) in the amount of $10 (regular members) or $5 (student members) to the AMS-S Secretary- Treasurer:

If you would like to stay up-to-date on all of our newsletters and activities, you can add yourself to the AMS-S mailing list by joining our Google Group. This Google group is used exclusively for official announcements related to the business and meetings of the Southern Chapter of the American Musicological Society. We send newsletters and other pertinent information at a rate of about 5-6 announcements per year. Only chapter officers are permitted to send notices via the group.
